When to Use: NT Labs Anti-Ulcer, Fin-Rot & Flukes, or Bacterad, is specifically formulated for use when fish display symptoms of bacterial infections. Look out for signs such as ulcers, split fins, fin rot, mouth rot, red blotches, missing scales, or clamped fins. Bacterad can also effectively treat flukes (trematodes) and is safe for sensitive species such as sturgeon, orfe, and rudd. It can be used even when Pond Salt Plus is present in the water at the ‘General Tonic’ level.

How to Use:

1. Shake Well:

   • Before use, shake the Bacterad bottle well to ensure proper dispersion of the active ingredients.

2. Mix Correct Dose:

   • In a clean bucket of pond water, mix the correct dosage of Bacterad as per the provided instructions.

3. Evenly Distribute Around Pond:

   • Pour the mixed solution evenly around the pond to ensure consistent treatment.

4. Switch Off UV for 10 Days:

   • Turn off UV filtration for 10 days from the first Bacterad dose to allow the treatment to take full effect.

5. Wait 10 Days After Final Dose:

   • After completing the treatment course, wait an additional 10 days before repeating the treatment or applying a different medication.

6. Observation and Caution:

   • Allow sufficient time to observe the fish during treatment. In the unlikely event of a reaction, take appropriate action.
