Bought fish from a breeder or seller in Indonesia or Thailand? We handle the import into the UK for you.
You pay the seller directly for your fish and their local shipping to the airport. We take it from there: customs clearance, veterinary and border checks, airport collection, and safe handling until your fish are ready to travel onward to you. You pay us a single, fixed import fee based on box size — no hidden charges, no surprises.

Please note: import fees cover the cost of clearing your box through UK customs and border control and are non-refundable, including in the rare event of loss in transit (DOA). This mirrors industry-standard practice — the fee reflects real regulatory and handling costs incurred whether or not every fish survives the journey. We take care with holding and handling on our end to give your fish the best possible start in the UK.
Because import fees cover real, largely fixed costs — customs clearance, border checks, and handling — that don’t shrink much whether we’re clearing one box or ten, prices above apply when your box travels alongside at least 2 others on the same shipment.
If you’re booking a box on its own or with only one other, a small surcharge applies to cover the fixed cost of running that shipment:

Tip: if you can coordinate with another buyer to fill a shipment, or wait for our next scheduled date, you’ll avoid the surcharge entirely. We’re always happy to let you know how many boxes are already booked on an upcoming shipment.
Once your box has cleared and is ready, we’ll arrange UK courier delivery to your door. This is charged separately based on your location and the size of your order — we’ll confirm the cost once your box lands.
